Alex Kumin
A Boston to Chicago transplant, Alex Kumin began her standup career in 2013, when she took the Lincoln Lodge Standup Seminary class. Ever since, she has been performing around the city of Chicago and across the US with her bold and socially conscious standup. She is a cast member of the longest running independent standup comedy showcase in the country, The Lincoln Lodge, and has opened for Rory Scovel, Aparna Nancherla, Jen Kirkman, Kyle Kinane, and Todd Barry, among others. She made her television debut on WCIU's "Chicago's One Night Standup" and has appeared in NBC Universal's Breakout Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, Orlando Indie Comedy Fest and The Chicago Comedy Exposition. In 2016 she was named a comic to watch by Timeout Chicago and was one of Chicago Reader's standout comedians of the year. She has been featured in Chicago Magazine as a comedian with "unapologetic honesty", as she tackles heavy hitting social issues like gender inequality and thigh chaffing.

Deanna Ortiz, single, white, female. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, her comedy is a sassy and lively take on everyday life. Audiences love her conversational style as she talks about love, loss, pregnancy scares, and her fears of being abducted. She has been featured in independent shows all over Chicago and is a regular at The Laugh Factory and regularly featured at Zanies and WGN radio. She has traveled all over the midwest performing and has recently been a part of the Memphis Comedy festival and auditioned for the Just For Laughs Comedy festival.
